Navigating an international shoot with journalists around the world during the global pandemic, Kristi directed four films honoring the award-winning journalists, ADD NAMES HERE, for The Committee to Protect Journalists 30th annual International Press Freedom Awards. The program honors journalists around the globe and rallies for our collective international press freedom.

The live Awards show, featured four short films directed by Jacobson, and premiered on NBC, ABC, CBS, Bloomberg, and Yahoo News simultaneously in 2020.
